Darren Curry

Executive Director of One Stop Student Services

Darren is the executive director of One Stop Student Services. In this role, he leads the university’s frontlines for enrollment services. One Stop streamlines the most common enrollment services with a goal to make the student experience with enrollment, academic records, financial aid, and payments as smooth, efficient, and friendly as possible. In addition to the services provided at One Stop, Darren leads and supervises the Center for Financial Wellness, which educates current and future Vols regarding money management and college affordability, as well as the Enrollment Outreach Team, which provides proactive support to students throughout the enrollment lifecycle for a variety of needs and opportunities.

Darren’s background includes a variety of roles in higher education related to student services and student life, university housing, recruitment and retention, and alumni relations. His accomplishments in integrated enrollment services have been recognized on a national level – hosting the national conference for integrated student services as well as serving as an external program reviewer and consultant for best practices in enrollment services.

Darren holds a BBA in marketing and an MEd in higher education with an emphasis in student affairs. He’s been certified by the Disney Institute in the Approach to Quality Service program and has completed the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training program at the University of Tennessee.
