Executive Director, DASH Student Project
Jeff Gerkin currently serves as the Executive Director for the DASH Student Project, a new systemwide Student Information System (SIS) developed to improve the Volunteer Experience for students during and after their time at UT. In this role, he leads the implementation of this system for Enrollment Management teams and serves as the primary liaison to the UT System and campuses.
Jeff’s professional experience in higher education spans over three decades, including both private and public institutions. He joined the University of Tennessee in 1992 and was named Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships in 1999. Prior to stepping into his current role, he also served as Enrollment Management’s Executive Director of Enrollment Management Operations and Financial Initiatives for three years, leading our Financial Aid & Scholarships and Center for Financial Wellness teams.
In addition to his many years of service to the institution, Jeff is also a University of Tennessee alumnus, having earned a master’s degree in College Student Personnel. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Johnson University.
