Deputy Registrar
Jennifer Hardy serves the Division of Enrollment Management as Deputy Registrar, assisting the University Registrar with developing the strategic vision for the office. In this role, she manages day-to-day operations within the Office of the University Registrar, supervising the teams whose work supports academic initiatives and ensuring the integrity of academic records. She also oversees the scheduling of academic classrooms and serves on several committees relating to space management, including the University Space Committee.
Hardy came to UT in August 2006. She previously served as Associate Registrar at East Carolina University and also held positions at Northern Kentucky University and Vanderbilt University. Hardy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Arts in Classics from Vanderbilt University.
Originally from Ohio, Hardy came to Knoxville with her husband, Brian, who also works on campus. They have an eleven-year-old daughter who already has experience as a student at UT – she attended preschool at the UT Early Learning Center.
