Director of Application Management & Integrated Systems
My name is Norma Harrington, and I am the Director of Application Management and Integrated Systems. I can say with confidence that The University of Tennessee is woven into the fabric of my family’s life. Aunts, uncles, sisters, and children have embraced education and career paths at the University of Tennessee.
After graduating from UT with a degree in Education, I quickly became a member of the Undergraduate Admissions family. Although my role has decidedly evolved over the years (41) , my commitment to our applicants has been constant. My goal is to provide an easy gateway for our students to illuminate their academic achievements and stories that are uniquely their own. We recognize the effort our students undertake in completing our applications and treat each one with respect and consideration.
I am constantly amazed at the lives we touch in our work and energized as each subsequent class is selected.
I am a proud recipient of the Extraordinary Service to the University Citation in 2004.
