Director of Undergraduate Admissions Application Management and Integrated Systems
Paul J Crawford began serving as Enrollment Management’s Director of Undergraduate Admissions Application Management and Integrated Systems in October 2024. In this role, Paul plays a critical part in strategizing, managing, and refining the University of Tennessee’s application process with student-focused and technology-based solutions.
Paul began his 20-year higher education admissions career in 2005 as a full-time admissions intern at the University of Michigan, his alma mater. He strengthened his admissions expertise at South Dakota State University, the University of Arizona, and the University of South Florida in increasingly complex roles emphasizing admissions recruitment, outreach, counseling and advising; scholarship coordination; application review and processing; and admissions operations. Before joining us on Rocky Top, Paul most recently served as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Operations the University of Oregon for six years, where he led data-informed improvements to operations, workflows, and strategies related to the admissions process.
Paul received his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from the University of Michigan and holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. His work has given him the opportunity to cultivate an in-depth understanding of the CRM Systems and Student Information Systems that enable our teams to enhance the student experience for prospective and current Volunteers.
