Director of Diversity Recruitment and Outreach
Redrick Taylor III serves as Director of Diversity Recruitment and Outreach in Undergraduate Admissions. He sets strategic direction, primary leadership, and vision for diversity recruitment, regarding all facets of recruitment in support of achieving institutional enrollment goals for undergraduate students. He also liaises with all academic and administrative offices to assist in the recruitment of students from diverse backgrounds.
Redrick comes to UT with experience in increasing access, equity, and inclusion at both the K-12 and post-secondary levels of education. He began his career developing and executing strategies to close the achievement gap for students in St. Louis public and charter schools. During his time at Valparaiso and Stanford University, he successfully led and implemented innovative, data driven approaches to recruiting, enrolling, and retaining students from diverse populations. He collaborated with colleagues internally and externally to develop programs, community-based partnerships, and specialized outreach efforts to educate various communities on access to selective and highly selective institutions, and ensure students receive equitable support and opportunities.
Redrick completed his undergraduate studies in Social Work at Valparaiso University where he served as an ambassador in admissions and overnight host for prospective students. He completed his Master’s Degree in Education at University of Missouri- St. Louis and his Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management at Valparaiso University.
